How the WordPress MCP connection works
1. Install the Connector
Install the ZoofiAI WordPress Connector on the site you want to manage.
2. Add the MCP endpoint
Use https://mcp.zoofiai.com/mcp in a compatible remote-MCP client.
3. Verify identity
ZoofiAI uses account verification and OAuth-compatible authorization instead of asking the AI for your WordPress administrator password.
4. Authorize a site
Select the WordPress site and the permission profile the AI should receive.
One hosted endpoint, multiple WordPress sites
The MCP endpoint stays the same while ZoofiAI handles user identity, workspace routing, site identity, AI grants and usage limits. This avoids running a separate MCP server for every WordPress site.
Permission-aware WordPress tools
The tool catalog can expose content, media, SEO, plugin/theme, backup and other supported WordPress operations. Exact tools and write access depend on the connector edition, site state and permission profile. Trusted owner connections can use the full automation profile.
